My boyfriend [23M] wants to move in this month. I’m [22F] and want to wait until spring. He keeps framing my timeline as me not being serious. How do I hold my pace without this becoming a commitment fight every week?

Together 2 years. We already stay at each other’s places 3–4 nights a week.

His lease is up in five weeks. Mine is up in April. He wants me to give notice early and move into his place now because “we already live together in practice.” I want to wait until my lease ends so I’m not scrambling, so I keep my own space during a busy work season, and so we try a written split of bills/chores before I give up my apartment.

Every time I say that, he asks what I’m waiting for. Last night he said if I was sure about him I wouldn’t need a buffer apartment. That stung because the issue isn’t whether I want the relationship. It’s the timeline and the way he’s turning logistics into a test.

I’m not asking anyone to pick a date for me. I need help keeping the conversation on practical terms.

What I want advice on: How do I present a clear moving-in plan (date, money split, chore split, what happens if it goes badly) so the next talk is about the plan instead of whether I love him enough?

TL;DR: 22F / 23M, 2 years. He wants to move in when his lease ends in 5 weeks; I want to wait until April. He treats my timeline as lack of commitment. I need a way to keep this about logistics, not a loyalty test.
