Rockstar Patches

Anyone else notice how gta5 and rdr2 got worse as more and more patches game. NPC behavior, choppy hair in cutscenes, etc. Would it just be better to play 1.0 of Rdr2 and would it be better to play a 1.0 of the 360 or ps4/xb1 version of gta5. Is there a mod or something that combines them?
