Contract question

Basically I obviously knew when I started that it was temporary. But I re read my employment agreement and it’s actually ending mid November not Christmas like I just assumed (like it seems odd not really on track with other seasonal jobs)

What I was wondering is this end date set in stone? Or do many people get kept on? My 30 day review is soon and the everything is going great, great feed back so far and getting trained in so much, love working at Waitrose.
