Died from hot gases?? in closed dorms room [Discussion]

i killed someone, saw an explosion for less than a second and instant died without any audio. I know orange canisters can explode but i was inside a dorm room with door closed is it even possible? Dont even have any name that killed me just KIA hot gases.
