When to throw in the towel on a landlord

I've been sick for a couple of months and finally tested the new house we moved into (rental) to get away from the mold at our 1950s house. Turns out it's an ERMI of 18 (G1 35 / G2 18), with a lot of aspergillus (10x), some statybotrys, a lot of Aureobasidium (which some people say is harmless).

I had a mold specialist come out and swab the HVAC (lots aspergillus, lots of stachybotrys) and cavity test (lots of aspergillus, 1 stachybotrys). They are very highly regarded in the area.

Then the LL sent out an army of regular plumbers and HVAC guys to say there is no running water and thus no issue, and a specialized environmental testing company that did mid-room air samples (with windows open and our air purifiers running) to say there is no mold. They did swab the HVAC and also found nothing.

We've asked him to at least fix the visually obvious roof leaks and hot water heater leak which he has agreed to but - 22 days later - has not done. He is obviously trying to get rid of us and he says he wants to sell the house.

What I have - ERMI, IGG blood tests, MSH <0, mold specialty company all saying there is mold. Is there any legal standing to take this anywhere - or just give up? (We are trying to move out as quickly as we can!)
