Does removing a single tooth actually deforms the face overtime?

Hello, im 20 years old, i have an upper right molar that needs to be removed. (I had an accident)

Right now i dont have enough money to afford an implant.

So, after removing that molar, what happens if i leave that empty space there? Does it actually cause any deformation after a time?
