Dear Friends in Christ,
Greetings from the Uganda Young Christian Students (UYCS), 37th National Team.
We write with warm memories of your presence and support during the burial of Rev. Fr. Joackim Otai in 2025, a moment that meant a great deal to our fraternity. We were deeply encouraged by the solidarity shown by our Spiritual siblings in Rwanda, and by the commitment made at that time to walk with us in supporting our work going forward.
As we continue our mission of "Empowering Faith in Action for a Sustainable Future," we are currently facing a significant financial shortfall — covering BSc fees for our members and project management costs for a waste-reduction initiative. This has made it necessary for us to reach out to the partners who stood with us in 2025, including your group.
We would be grateful for an update on the possibility of the support discussed at that time, and we remain open to discussing how this partnership might move forward in a way that works for both our communities.

**Mark 10:35-37** — This is the James and John passage in Mark, but it's not about Israel. James and John (sons of Zebedee) approach Jesus and ask to sit at his right and left hand "in your glory"

Thank you 🙏🏾
