So food is discussed a lot on here. In general shrimp don’t need anything extra as long as they have enough food built up in their tanks but I know I like to give them extras. So what are yall rotating through or adding to your tank?

These photos are from when I recently added some food to their tanks. For the food below, I don’t give everything every week I just kind of rotate through. The powders to build up bio film are a weekly thing

For my neocaridina:
Shrimp lollies (various brands)
Bacter AE
ShrimpBaby
KW Shrimp Spinach Delight for my blues
KW Shrimp Astaxanthin Shrimp Feed for my reds
frozen mini bloodworms
Crab cuisine
Shrimp cuisine
Repashy community plus (this is for my shrimp in my community tank so the fish can also enjoy them)
Lubao / Kallax ball (this stays in for a month or so before I put in a new one)
And since I sometimes have my fry in the tank with them they might get a little extra (like baby brine shrimp)

For my Caridina:
KW Shrimp Bacterial Powder v2
Baby Dust
HWA v1
Lubao / Kallax ball (this stays in for a month or so before I put in a new one)

My Caridina are newer to me so I haven’t had as much time to experiment with their food and I’m more cautious about keeping their parameters stable so I limit myself to what food I give them.

I’ve also tried zucchini but my neos weren’t into it.

What’s your food rotation!
