Hi Everyone! My name is George better known as Bowser or BuildABowser on Twitch and I'm here to rally you guys as the leader and host of the next PSBoycott. As of right now Sony is still on track to remove Physical Media as of January 2028 and only rumors have surfaced that they might prolong the decision but we can't trust rumors. As long as I have been a PS Console gamer, I have has the pleasure trading physical games, borrowing physical media or just collecting the box art because of how cool it is and I know digital games have box art then a code inside but it's not the same and you know it, there is something raw about having a disc inside that case unless it's inside your console. And to lose that would be like losing what it means to be a console gamer and we should try to fight to keep Physical Media in circulation as it's an important part of being a console gamer is being able to share games and being able to own the physical media of games, let me specify that's it important we own the games we buy and not just the licenses to be taken away whenever they deem or whenever they lost a contract.

Just in an example with the StudioCanal Agreement coming to an end at the first of September, people lost access to the movies and TV shows that they purchased with no refund or compensation, following into a class-action lawsuit from four different PS users which lead to Sony saying Digital Ownership is not real as quoted here from the class-action lawsuit - "Sony formally defended itself in federal court by arguing that digital games and media are legally "licensed, not owned" and that no "reasonable" consumer should have expected permanent ownership."

That is just one of the many reasons we should continue to fight this battle, continue to boycott any and all digital purchases keeping the digital purchases to a minimal forcing them to reevaluate this dare I say.. stupid notion of getting rid of disc all together.

I will be hosting my own petition so that way we can have both petitions that stand for different things. My petition will stand for the boycott and give details and information regarding that and updates and the original blackout petition will stand for gathering gamers, please pay both of them dear attention as this is important to gamers across the world.

Join #PSBoycott for the rest of the year ( Pictured inspired by PSBlackout Poster ) ( Also this was not made with A.I, last time I posted got a lot of people thinking I was using A.I but I am firmly against A.I. I just speak as if I'm in a formal interview most of the time but I'd rather come off and clear and concise than use street language. )
