Need recommendations on a cpu + gpu combo

I am from the UK and I’m new to pc building. I just sold my ps5 and currently saving up for my first ever pc. I want to keep the budget at max 2k pounds. The things I want in my system is ddr5 32gb ram 6000mhz, 2tb ssd. I want to use my pc for work gaming and editing. The gaming preferably needs to handle 1440. I have no idea of what is the best cpu gpu for my situation and would appreciate any help especially from uk buyers. My monitor is a simple Koorui 180hz 27 inch.
