New to YouTubing, tips would be much appreciated before starting posting my first video

Hi! I am going to start my first channel posting gaming videos. The idea is to compress a whole game / series in long format videos, 1h+, edited and narrated, focused on experiencing the story for the first time and then on obtaining all the achievements. My inspiration is based on channels like Floydson and IAmRob. My mic is pretty decent and I'm not going to use webcam.

I've read some comments talking about being active on the channel for a few months before posting your first video (liking videos, watching, commenting) to not be detected as a bot. Some ppl were saying that a schedule is important too, but that's gonna be pretty hard at the beginning.

What other tips should I be aware before starting? Thanks!
