Are you alone or lonely?

For context, i have been single for the past 4 years and i do not have any plans to get married. Being single could mean alot of things but have you ever wondered if you’re alone or if you’re lonely?

Being alone and feeling lonely means 2 different things. I am alone but i’m not lonely. Reason being i enjoy the peace i get when i am alone. I love it when i’m alone. I can’t forsee myself committing to one person for the rest of my life (though i am loyal).

Feeling lonely on the other hand means you do not enjoy being alone. You get lonely. That peace from being alone makes you emotional. You’re sad that you’re not with someone else.
