Currently having trouble building walls

This sounds crazy but my walls aren’t working right, and I’m so confused

It’s been a while since I last played and I’ve been wanting to building something new so I bought a new save and was trying to put a basic wall foundation but it’s nots working properly I think

When I’m in building mode it show it can’t be placed or it wasn’t able to and it disappears, when I exit build mode it shows the walls I just built, I bulldozed the plot and it’s still having the same error
