How “good” is Birth by Sleep?

Idk what else to put as the title.

I recently decided to replay all the KH games in preparation for 4, before this I’d only played 1, 2 and CoM. I’ve just finished replaying them as well as 358/2 Days, so next up is Birth by Sleep.

So, just how good is it? I’ve heard good things, and the gameplay seems fun and a little different to the other games, but I’m not sure if I wanna play through it 3 times, or is that something that doesn’t feel as tedious when you’re actually getting into it?
