23F [F4M] #Bluffs - Hiking and Fishing

Hello!

My name is Lily, and I live in the Bluffs area. I am in my last year of university, and am born and raised in Vancouver. I miss the Vancouver lifestyle a lot, and am looking to take advantage of the last few weeks of warm weather to get out, hike and fish. I don't have any fishing gear in Toronto, but will be getting some in the near future. I am not great at fishing, so if this is your area of expertise, and you’re patient enough to deal with crossed lines, this is for you!

A little about me:

I am half Dutch half Chinese. French is my first language, but I have near-native fluency in English. I am very active, I dragonboat (essentially 20 person canoeing) 4-5 times a week in the summer competitively and figure skate 6-7 days a week when the rinks are open. I love baking/cooking, so I am willing to make lunch to bring on the adventure :)

I dabble in woodworking (with no real tools), love thrifting, and love old electronics. I always have my 2007 camcorder on my. I garden, listen to the radio everyday, bike, and am into cars. (My dream car is a Suzuki Samurai 1998 or Ford Bronco 1976) I watch hockey (Canucks fan so you know I'm not a bandwagon) and F1. My top artists are Gorillaz, Bruce Springsteen and Wilco.

I study French literature, English literature and History. I am very interested in War history and politics.

I'm not looking for anything complicated, I am more than happy with making friends, no expectations! Just looking for good people who are willing to hang out. I don't know much about fishing in Toronto, or any good spots, so if you do, message me and I'll guard the area with my life!

I'm also open to grabbing coffee before embarking on a full on hike :)
