After spending quite a bit of time to himself so he could work on bringing his brand-new study to life, Gerson seemed to be almost done with it after many weeks of hard work. The strange part is he got a few unexpected visitors...all of which were strange in their own way. Gerson seemed to be writing about the progress he has made in a little journal along with writing about the interesting fellows he's met.
"I was able to make a lot of progress today! I'd say in a few days this place will be up and running, thank goodness! I've been having such fun working on this place; it's been wonderful bringing my study back from that fantasy land! Though over the past few days I met some interesting fellas today; all three seem like they could do with a little push in the right direction...one needs it more than the others however. The first one happened to be looking around and thought this place was a library due to how the outside looked; can't say I blame them! His name was Flowery, if I remember correctly. He was very quick to apologize when he realized this wasn't a library, but I let him stay and introduce himself. Poor guy...he mentioned some stuff about his past; he didn't go into detail, but all he said was he lost some people close to him and needs a little push in the right direction to get his fighting spirit back! I offered to have a friendly spar with them tomorrow, and he was more than willing to do so! He told me about how he was a flower given a more human form from those fountain thingies, and...if I remember correctly, I'm sure I was very similar! He seems capable of a lot more than he believes, and he knows it; he just lets his emotions get in the way. I know he's been through a lot, but in a battle you can't let your emotions completely take over...you must use them as a weapon if possible!"
"Meanwhile, the second fella was certainly something; she walked in talking to someone...well, according to her at least, I didn't see anyone. Eh, who am I to judge? My old age has done very similar things to me! I know what it's like to be crazy sometimes. It was this girl in an outfit that was pink and oddly cat-like...kinda reminded me of something familiar even though I've never seen it before. A few minutes later a slightly different voice took over; they claimed to be one of my students from back in the day, and whilst I remember the name... those days were a while ago now; it's awfully hard to remember. They claimed the reason they came here was to just be alone. I get it...I let them read a few of the books I had, and they got invested awfully quickly. After about an hour or two they got up and said it was time for them to go; they went to some kind of audition. As they said goodbye to me, I couldn't help but hear...two voices? Perhaps I'm just going crazy!"
"Finally was the third one, and she was certainly...loud, to say the least. She looked kind of like a robot...she burst in before throwing a fancy glass outside, which somehow blew up. I would question the logic, but then again... I am supposed to be dead, so I chose not to! She was tall, a mix of blue, black and white on her body; she was a robot, as I mentioned before, and she was... certainly saying a lot of mumbo jumbo I didn't quite understand. I believe she claimed she was a queen, though if so I expected her to act more...serious, but who am I to judge? She came in thinking this place was...a shop. Whilst it technically is a shop, she was after tools; this ain't one of those shops. But I did have some left over which I handed over, and she did pay quite nicely, despite her jokes...which I didn't understand. She wanted the tools too, and I quote, 'rebuild my really cool mansion'. I don't think some simple little tools will be enough for that, but you do, you lady!"
After writing some other extra notes that weren't worth bringing up, Gerson had shut the journal and placed it on one of the many nearby bookshelves. He walked over to some logs he had collected early in the morning, slowly grabbing one and bringing it over to the fireplace and tossing the log in, he went all the way back to grab another...rinse and repeat. Eventually all the logs had been thrown in; the next step was starting the fire. Gerson grabbed a nearby box of matches and took one out; once the fire had started, he leaned forward, allowing the fire to start...then he blew out the match and threw it away. He grabbed one of the many copies of his book, which was named "Lord of The Hammer", he sat down in the comfy chair that was placed near the fireplace...and got comfy. He put on his reading glasses and began to read, yeah he wrote this book, but it never hurts to admire your own work, does it?"
"Heh! You're telling me I wrote this book!? There could have been more details about The Dark King, like his motives, why he feels that way...etc., but I still did a good job nonetheless! Gyaa ha ha ha!"
From the outside the warm orange glow from the fire was barely visible from the window; it gave off a comfy feeling to people passing by. If you wish to come in, make sure to knock first! Just barging in would be rude after all!
