Galaxy Watch Club Tracking Issue

I have used Golfpad for several years now. I love being able to use my watch to track shots/clubs. My issue recently started and im not sure why. I have always been able to track my shots with my watch, I track shot, and I was always asked to select the club I hit with. Recently, I would track a shot but it would skip the club selection part. Im not sure why. My only guess is that im no longer using the recommended club because Im going through a swing change and hitting balls farther than before. Almost 2 clubs farther. For example, it recommends a 7 but instead I have used a 9. I hit track shot but it assumes I used a 7. I then have to go change it in the app on my phone. Im also not able to add a penalty if/when that happens because that is on the same screen as the club selection screen. This happened almost 90% of my shots and then would randomly work and ask me to pick the club. Not sure if I turned on a setting somewhere by accident. I last used the app in March with none of these watch issues.
