Need some advice restarting Subs

I have searched and found many different options so I'm hoping for some advice.

I've been on Suboxone for approximately 1 year (two 8mg twice a day, once in AM, once in PM). Yesterday I took my regular dose at 11am and again around 6pm. Then late last night I made a terrible mistake and an old friend stopped by and I ended up smoking some Fent (like 4 or 5 hits) around 12:30-1:00am. So stupid.

So my question is, can I take Suboxone today or doo I need to wait 2-3 days until I'm in withdrawals? Last time this happened over a year ago, I waited very 2 days and still went into precipitated WDs and it was pure agony.

I've read some comments saying that it is possible to resume subs the next day if the relapse didn't last long. I'm obviously terrified of WDs however.

The old friend left me with a hg of fent, which I will happily throw away if/when i get through this, however I guess it's there in case I go into PWDs.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm sorry if this is a common question I just want to be able to do this right this time and learn from my stupid mistakes.
