Paige needs some rest

Ok I’m a third the way through the mask falling and I’m loving these books so much but I feel so frustrated that Paige never fully rests 😭 she’s always doing things with no sleep, cold, wet, beaten up. Right now she has pneumonia and has had her lung drained and a catheter in her hand for her medicine and she’s still going to talk to the other clairvoyants and plotting. I understand she is determined but I just want our girl to get cosy and rest and recover for a couple of weeks. It’s been like this from book one so I get that’s just her and she won’t change but I’m constantly thinking “ok please let’s have a chapter of rest and recovery” 😂
