Is it just me or did A24 screw over the release of Onslaught?

Seriously, this movie was apparently released in IMAX due to it being on the poster. But all of its IMAX screens must’ve gone to Akira, because I saw that instead over Labor Day weekend and figured I’d see Onslaught this week. Only for it to barely have any screens, none of then in IMAX, and most showings being late at night. And I live in NYC, so it’s not like I’m lacking theaters or anything. But it’s not even a week since this movie’s released and it may as well not be in theaters anymore. It kinda feels like A24 just sent it out to die so they could mainly focus their marketing dollars on Primetime instead (which I’ve seen way more ads for)
