Help! Found a carpet mite larva on my WIP. Don't have a cold enough freezer and can't wash this yarn in hot water.

Just as the title says. According to Google Lense, the bug I just found on the coat I'm making is a carpet beetle larva. It didn't save the picture and I already threw the bug outside (I was getting in my car when I found it). Everything I'm seeing says to either wash the yarn in hot water (which real ruin it) or deep freeze it (I only have a crap apartment freezer that barely gets cold enough for my food). I only saw one. Is there a chance i picked it up going down my outside stairs (which are carpet) and that I don't hot to throw away 30 skeins of pricey yarn?? 😭😭😭
