Question On Expansions and Skipping

I am probably misunderstanding something but I have both expansions on Diablo 4 and am a little confused about the skipping options. I started a character that I took the recommended option to start the Lord of Hatred expansion on. I beat that expansion. I now have the option when creating a character to skip the campaign to end game. I want to start a new character and experience the Vessel of Hatred campaign. If I choose the option to start at VoH (skip main campaign) will gameplay mechanics like the Horadric Cube still be unlocked since I completed it on another character, even though I didn't choose the option to skip it all and start the end game. Basically I would like to experience original campaign and VoH campaigns to level new characters but do not wish to have to repeat the LoH campaign to get the cube and whatnot again.
