what constitutes "physical limitations" to be excused from required work for SNAP?
I was a freelancer and I use to make a decent amount of money but that's changed. I am on Medicaid and if I lose it, I will be screwed because my body is falling apart. There are changes coming to Medicaid and if I am on food stamps, I won't lose my insurance (I didn't sign up for SNAP to be sneaky, I also do need food stamps now). BUT one of the requirements for SNAP is 30 hr/wk work or the monetary equivalent. My body has deteriorated so much over the past year and a half, I stopped working and have applied for disability benefits. I can barely STAND let alone work. SNAP says the work requirements would be waived if "unable to work due to physical limitations". Does that sentence just mean someone on Disability? Cause I'm not there yet. Would I be able to be exempt? Given I provide proof, which I have a lot of. Sorry, I'm just panicking.
