Watching a Let´s play of Final Fantasy X which was one of my absolute favourites some 20 yrs back when I was a teenager. I am 4 hours into the let´s play and I am starting to realize that this game is trashy af.

The animation, the dialogue, the nonsensical behaviours of the protagonist. It is giving me shonen anime vibes of the worst kind. and.... oh boy, the voiceover, like who wrote that? also, the story is really not told well.

Am I missing something? Is it getting better when the darker stuff is happening later on?
