Death of the author and Joyrot

I think at this point it would be fun to just comment on the story that we’re actually being shown and just fully ignore Willis. Based on everything the text is telling me: Dorothy and Joyce are in a co dependent spiral and have been for days in comic time. They have isolated themselves from their larger social circle preferring the company of each other where they enable their absolute worst qualities. Other people don’t really exist for them anymore and their behavior has becoming increasingly bizarre.
