High Blood Pressure Outcomes?

Hi! I’m 13 weeks pregnant and as soon as I was 8 weeks, my blood pressure started spiking. I’m currently taking 30 mg of Nifedipine in the morning and again at night. I wouldn’t be surprised if my OB continues to increase my dosage. My OB has told me to not be surprised if we plan an induction at 37 weeks and that she would be shocked if I don’t end up with pre eclampsia. I was induced at 39 weeks with my first due to severe high blood pressure but was never formally diagnosed with pre eclampsia then. Has anyone had chronic hypertension in the first trimester and successfully managed your blood pressure through the rest of your pregnancy? I just need to hear some positivity. Thanks!
