Help me with improvised treatment

I got a really irritated pimple right under my butt, it's not big but It hurts when I sit, I don't have any pimple patches left and I won't be able to buy any in the next 24 hours (probably a little more) what can I do? I've covered it with zinc oxide cream (I've heard it helps with irritation and some ppl say it also helped their acne) and put a band aid over it, it this a good plan and should I do anything different?
