Does anyone else feel like the number of friends you have keep shrinking the older you get

Like before school ended I knew a lot of people I was friendly with like 10+ people and as soon as school ended and college started a good chunk of people disappeared there was only 4 of us left in the group in the college I go to. The next year 3 of us one dropped out. Then this current year it’s only 2 of us since we are doing an extra year. And we hardly see each other in college anymore because our timetables are completely different. When I’m on break there in a lesson so we only see each other once a week.
