For those who played Brave Exvius, how similar is the story to the demo's? Does it get better?
I was very excited for a new turn-based final fantasy, and not turned off by the prospect of it being a reimagining of a gacha game, albeit slightly disappointed by the slightly fanservice-y tone that necessitated with the Visions and all. However, I played a significant amount of the demo and was very dissapointed by the story- the extremely unnatural exposition, one-note characters, and fairly generic plot setup. For those of you who played Brave Exvius, was the story in that game similar to this? Did it get better throughout the game's lifespan? I just want to know if I can expect the story in the full game to be better than what's been shown in the demo.
(This is obviously a subjective take, no hate to anyone who enjoyed the story.)
