How is the "sans comes from undertale" theory STILL a thing?

Do people forget that sans can literally DIE in one of undertale's endings? If Toby Fox intended for sans to come from undertale he would have to canonize one of the endings, wich he CLEARELY is very opposed against.

+All the evidence pilying up from the last few chapters should have killed this theory alredy.
