Question about PERA - Under 5 Years

I only have 4 years of service, when I called Colorado PERA it sounds like if I keep my funds. I would still be eligible for monthly benefit payments. Does anyone know if this is correct?

The difference they told me is at 5 years, I could access the funds at 60, but since I am not at 5 years I would have to wait until 65.
