High Lord/King of Dark Realm in forced marriage with diplomat from another court

The high Lord or king of a dark realm is interested in a female diplomat he’s seen multiple times from another court. Her brother or father commits a crime and she is forced to marry him to save her family. He finds her with her lover right before their wedding and kills him in front of her. She has literal light magic and can create orbs of light.
