I've just published my first sci-fi/time-travel novel, The Time Orb, and I wanted to share it here!
The story follows Spencer Shepherd, a ten-year-old living in 2122 who watches his family get killed by mysterious alien invaders known as the Jfolks. In the chaos, a strange red orb burns into his mind-the last thing he sees before his world is destroyed.
Years later, scientist Dr. Benji Black gives Spencer an impossible choice:
Travel back in time. Live an entirely different life. And stop the Jfolks before they ever arrive.
Spencer is sent back to 2005 in the body of a newborn, becoming Barry Joseph. He has 18 years to grow up and understand what happened, then only six years to prepare for the invasion.
But changing the past isn't as simple as it sounds.
Every decision has consequences.
Every change creates a new problem.
And the future isn't going to let Spencer rewrite it so easily.
