I'm buying my first laptop for uni (plus excessive gaming cus I'm finally out of the house), before this I used my sis's 2016 ROG strix 1050.

The two models I'm looking at are:

Model: MECHREVO Kuangshi 16 Super Series GM6PX8X

Processor: Intel® Core™ i9-13900HX

Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4080

Memory: 32GB DDR5 RAM

Storage: 1TB SSD

Display: 16-inch QHD+ 240Hz IPS

Windows: 11 Pro

Condition: 9/10 (Some Dent On Body)

Warranty: 1 Month Shop

1x Laptop

1x Original Power Adapter

I've attached the pictures sent by the seller but I'll also ask if I can use furmark2/cinebench/hwinfo64 to test

It's used for 1-2 years but for now it seems all good from the photos, I still plan on testing it irl before buying

Either that or,

The TUF F16 2025

Both of these is the same price, the main reason I'm more towards choosing the first is bc I feel like 8gb vram isn't enough for 2k gaming... But I've also saw that the mechrevo only has a 64wh battery so I'm also scared it might not last me through the lectures. Btw I'm a language student so I'm practically only using it's high specs for gaming and personal projects (clo3d & blender mostly)

Do you guys think the 8gb vram is enough from personal experiences playing on high visuals? And do you guys think the 64wh battery can last through 2-3 hours through power saving methods?

New 5070 or used 4080?
