Name changes in Warren County?

I am nonbinary and hoping to change my middle name soon. However, the form asks for a reason. Does anyone know how acceptable it is to write because I am transgender, especially nonbinary? (First name is feminine and middle name will be masculine, so I worry it may confuse them).

I’m not sure if just writing “I go by this as a nickname and would prefer to have it as my name” would be allowed. It’s true, but kind of vague.
