When people criticize/shit on someone online, do they hate them?

I know it sounds stupid but sometimes the wording or the attitude makes me unsure whether the commenter hates the OP or wants them dead…yknow? Like yeah they don’t know them personally enough to wish them ill or death but still…would they rather that the OP dies? Purely talking about comments on cringe or annoying videos, not politics or other harmful hateworthy stuff.
