Preterm Labor? Contractions and no change in dilation, has anyone else had this experience?

Question

I went to my nearby hospital due to strong contractions being 5-10 minutes apart lasting 10-30 seconds. I also gave birth to my first born at 27 weeks so I just wanted to make sure it was Braxton hicks and not labor but I was wrong. I was 33 weeks and 4 days when I went to my nearest ER. They did see on the monitors I was contracting and when cervix was checked I was 2cm dilated. I was flown out to a different hospital that has a NICU in case baby came early. While here I’ve been regularly checked on: cervix wise and monitoring my contractions and baby. They’ve been giving me steroids for baby and antibiotics and medicine for my contractions. At some point I did get an epidural due to the pain but go taken out the next day since I was finally able to sleep through the night. During the day sometimes my contractions are 20-30 minutes apart and sometimes it’s 2-10 minutes apart when given medicine to help subside my contractions they make me to drowsy I just end up falling asleep with my contractions and I wake up with contractions. Baby seems to tolerate the contractions still moving around still having a strong heart beat. I’ve been dilated to 4cm 50%-70% effaced and bag is still intact. I’m 35 weeks today still no change in cervix at 4cm dilated still and no other symptoms other then my contractions. I’m scared to go home but I also feel as if nothing is going to change and I’ll just have to handle my contractions as much as I can. They are thinking of discharging me tomorrow, and I’m going to another hospital since I have more family there and a place to stay my first baby that was preterm was flown at that hospital. I can’t stay near the current hospital I was transferred to due to funds and their Ronald McDonald house is pretty sparse on spots available. Has this happened to anyone? Any tricks that helped with pain? If this has happened to you when did baby decide to arrive? I hope I’m not the only one I just feel so lost, confused, and disappointed my body is failing on my baby again. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
