Roma Norte or Condesa for a first-time visitor to Mexico City?

I'd probably choose Roma Norte if I had to pick one.

It has a great mix of restaurants, cafés, bars, architecture and street life, and it's easy to walk into Condesa anyway.

Condesa feels greener and a little more residential, especially around Parque México and Avenida Amsterdam.

They're next to each other, though, so I wouldn't overthink the decision. Staying in either gives you easy access to both.
