Millenial frustrated when interacting with Gen Zs

Things as a millenial I’ve find frustrating with trying to be friends with gen Zs is that their love language is sending memes to each back and forth into eternity. I’m all for it, I do it myself. But this is not sustainable to keeping and maintaining relations or friendships. They never ask how you are, are interested in you as a person or ask about your day.

Secondly is that alot of them cannot self-regulate without their phones. They cannot stand discomfort. Especially socially. Any discomfort , and they disappear into their phones, leave you on read, block or just disappear. Many shy away from direct confrontations or sitting with their emotions. They rather disappear into the virtual reality of internet and never talk to you again. There is no surprise Gen Z’s have a friendship recession when you would rather ghost people than have difficult conversations or resolve things face to face like adults. What are you so afraid of Gen Zs really?
