Nobody is forcing you to buy an iPhone.
The amount of crying on this sub about how “Apple did India dirty” is getting ridiculous.
Mercedes can sell you a car for ₹60L that takes you from A to B, while Maruti can do the same thing for ₹6L. Nobody calls Mercedes a scam because the entire point is that you’re paying for something beyond the basic function.
But when Apple prices a phone at a premium, suddenly it’s a national tragedy.
If you think an iPhone isn’t worth the price in India, don’t buy one. There are dozens of perfectly capable Android phones at a fraction of the price.
You don’t have to like Apple’s pricing. You don’t have to buy Apple.
But acting personally betrayed because a luxury consumer product is expensive is just bizarre.
