Cordless Circular Saw
In the past I have used hand saws and cordless reciprocating saws for removing rib bones from moose, caribou, etc. but I after butchering the moose I took last week I have been thinking more and more about using a small cordless circular saw to do the job. Depending on situation the sawzall can get into the guts which I always try to avoid plus sawzall is terrible at cutting the meat/tissue, and the handsaw can be awkward.
I was thinking that a small cordless circular saw where I can set the depth would be pretty ideal for taking ribs off in units where deboning the ribs in the field is forbidden. Has anyone here tried the circular saw for this and how did it work??
