In one of the most questionably confusing flops in MMORPG history, Legends of Aria Eternal "releases today", but is somehow still in Beta and will have another final wipe at some time in the future.
From their Steam announcement:
The official server enters beta
The official server is run by the Aria Collective, a volunteer team of longtime Aria administrators and veterans working alongside Supreem, Emergent Worlds' lead developer. It comes online in beta on launch day.
The world is live and playable from the start. The ruleset is what we'll keep working on. There will be regular events throughout, and we'll be making changes based on what we see. When we believe it's ready, we'll announce a date for a final wipe and the official server's full launch. That will be the last wipe, and you'll have plenty of warning before it happens.
