For me it would be like this:

The cast would be at least 15 years old.

Korrina would be a permanent travel companion of the group and would be Ash’s sparring buddy along with Clemont.

There would be more Amourshipping moments with Ash being not as dense and would even accept Serena’s feelings! But he would have to see if Misty’s ok with sharing. (Reason for this will be in my Kanto/Johto rewrite.)

Ash’s Kalos Team would stay the same just like in canon but there would be some new additions to somewhat balance it out:

1. Trevenant

2. Kalosian Aegislash

3. Kalosian Honedge

4. Florges

5. Amura/Aurorus

& 6. Tyranatrum

the Ash-Greninja form would not be retconned. I love this form so much and I was dissatisfied when it got retconned.

Ash would use his aura more in this rewrite and would have some angst moments when thinking about his 5 past deaths. his Kalos friends would confront him about it and would help him cure his angst and depression. Ash would also teach Korrina how to use aura and give her some new strategies to control it.

Alain and Sawyer would be his two main rivals of his Kalos journey just like in canon.

Tierno,Shauna and Trevor would be written like a combination of their anime counterparts and Pokémon Adventures manga counterparts.

Miette would tease Serena for her feelings of Ash to make her grow more confident and goddamit it would work. Serena would even ask Ash out to the ball instead of asking Clemont & even flirt with him at times. But she would still tend to be flustered around him whenever he flirts back. Yes, you heard right, Satoshi ‘Ashton’ Ketchum would FLIRT BACK with Serena but only sometimes.

Korrina would have a crush on Clemont. I also tend to be a Laserbladeshipper as well besides Amourshipping,Pokéshipping & Aureliashipping.

Ash would tell Serena “If you meet two people named May and Max Maple, tell them I said hi!” before she leaves for Hoenn. And being the good girlfriend that she is, she would.

In the end, although he foiled his plans, Lysandere would actually hold a deep respect for Ash for his deep bond with Pokémon after the Kalos Crisis.

Greninja and Goodra would stay behind in Kalos like in canon but the difference is when Ash reunites with them in “Pokémon the series: Z-A” he would capture them again making them a part of his Pokémon family on Oak Ranch & Florges would stay behind with Goodra as well since Florges has a bit of a crush on Goodra.

Hawlucha would see Noibat/Noivern as his little brother. I know that’s a thing in canon already but I just want more sibling moments of the two.

But uh yeah, that’s my Kalos rewrite for Ash. If you hate it, you hate it, if not, thank you for all the love! But how would Ash’s rewritten Kalos journey go to you? Would Ash and Serena become a couple in the end of the journey? Answer in the comments below!

If you could rewrite Ash’s Kalos journey, what would it be like?
