No PC audio when using standalone application

Hey guys,

when I use the standalone TONE3000 plugin (without a DAW) I can only hear the plugin sound, all other sounds on my PC are muted somehow. The plugin itself works fine, but I like to play along to songs and this way I can't put on any song while the plugin is open.

I'm using a TASCAM IXR with the IXR Asio drivers, and my headphones, my speakers and my guitar are all running through the interface. When I change the audio driver to any other driver in the settings, the PC sound reappears and I loose my guitar sound, so I think it has something to do with the drivers. I didn't find any information for this specific problem so I'm hoping that someone ran into the same problem and managed to fix it, unlike me : )
