RTX 2080 Ti 11GB vs RTX 3060 12GB — Which would you choose today? Between just these two because these are the only one with more VRam

I’m tryig to decide between an RTX 2080 Ti 11GB and an RTX 3060 12GB.

The 3060 has 12GB VRAM, but the 2080 Ti has significantly more raw GPU performance.

My main use is 1440p gaming, preferably High/Ultra settings, with DLSS when available. I’m also interested in how they compare for newer games and future-proofing.

Which one would you pick, and why?

Also, how much of a difference does the extra 1GB VRAM on the 3060 actually make in real-world gaming?

Personally I bought PNY RTX 2080 TI TURBO but honestly there is about the same price for each of the cards about 280 dollars in the used market in my area so both price at the same time which is crazy to even think how much AI change the prices of cards these days
