I despise people who claim to have zero friends, when they actually have plenty
I honestly resent when people say they “have no friends” or act like they’re completely alone, when they actually have plenty of people around them. They have friends they talk to, people they hang out with, group chats, classmates, coworkers, or even just a few people they’re genuinely close with, and yet they still describe themselves as having “no friends.”
Being genuinely friendless is different from simply feeling lonely or being dissatisfied with your social life.
It means having no real person you can call a friend—no one you regularly message just because you want to talk, no one to spontaneously meet for coffee or a walk, no group chat where you naturally belong, no one who would immediately notice if you disappeared for a few days.
