Good and bad
We can all 'ave a go at Toad Rage and make him look like a bit of a stronger version of twit, but in keeping with the rule that "as long as you say something good about someone, you can also say something bad about them," we must all now comment one thing that we like about him.
For me, at least on XFM, Gervay comes across as really perceptive of people, their behaviors, culture, and social norms, which allows him to be really funny on the fly even when discussing mundane things. I think this is particularly true for the working class, he obviously grew up in that life and I think he has a real eye and love for their quirks and habits. Like when they're talking about keeping your dead dad's tattoo, and he does the officiant's voice perfectly - "like what my son?" Or when he's talking about the horse watching a Rediffusion telly, or his deathtrap polystyrene ceiling and the chip fryer.
Oh and uhhhh... it's the anniversary of the uhhhhh nine eelehvun
