Qurstion for Trans-Parents and partners

So I feel like im wanting to transition, but i want to ask others that are deeper in and in this situation. My partner and I have a child he just turned 1 and ive been wanting to transition since before we got together and everything and we had talked about it before we ever had a kid, but now that we have one I feel like the idea of me transitioning isnt taken as well.

Im being told that itll ruin my career and my partners career and that later down the road our son is going to get bullied and stuff and made to think theres something wrong with him. And i dont entirely understand the idea that they have to mourn the loss of me.

I feel like it'd be better for him if I transitioned just because Id be a happier person and could love myself more and be able to teach him that he should love himself.

So basically like has yalls transitioning actually proven any of that? Is your kid(s) lives negatively impacted to that degree and has it actually ruined the careers/ social lives of people around you?
