Will there be a noticeable difference in upgrading my Airpods 2?

I bought my Airpods 2 around 2019 and they've worked just fine. With the Airpods 5 coming out soon I'm wondering how drastic of a difference will be. Has anyone upgraded from the 2 to a 4? Was the difference huge given the active noise cancellation?

FYI I am not interested in the pro version. I've never had a good experience with any earbuds that have those tips at the end.
