I don't know if this is the right community for this, but are there any chatting websites for dming friends, like instagram or discord?

Me and my friend are trying to get away from using instagram to message eachother, but we're not sure what to use. Bluesky wont let us send images, same with tumblr, pinterest, and spacehey, this website lags my device, my friend cant use twitter, and discord wont work for me.

Our main goal is to find something that lets us send images, and shows typing and reads.

I fear we may be a bit out of luck💔
